Ginger Hamner
Hello! I am Ginger Hamner and have been teaching and training for over 26 years of in the fitness and wellness industry. I have experience teaching strength and conditioning, step, interval, resist-a-ball, chair aerobics, Pilates and YogaFit . I developed an interest in healthcare/fitness while studying Therapeutic Recreation during college. After experiencing the benefits and long term approach to overall wellness and fitness, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from The Mississippi University for Women (MUW) while working as the Group Exercise Coordinator for Golds Gym. I hold certifications in personal training, group exercise, Pilates, Senior Fitness and YogaFit while also continuing education with AFAA,(Athletics and Fitness Association of America) IAFP,(International Alliance for Fitness Professionals) ESA, (Exercise Science Alliance/Educator License) NDEITA, (National Dance Exercise Instructor Training Association) ACE, (American Council on Exercise) and YogaFit Level I Instructor courses. I live in Sumrall with my husband Sammy and twin boys Sawyer and Henry. We attend Temple Baptist Church.
